Back to work

From a non stop vacation to non stop shows. Have to love it. This month so far: 3 Doors Down, All American Rejects, Dave Koz, Blues Traveler, Tears for Fears, and today Ozomatli. Before the month is out I will add Jewel, Boney James and finish off the month at Konocti with Smokey Robinson.
In the middle I managed to do a little carnival for the SF Giants in their parking lot.
I still make time for beer. Consuming and brewing. The Homebrewers association published what I have been saying for the past year. Pliny the Elder is the best beer in country. And now that it is being bottled you shoould find it and try some. Brewing unfortunately took a turn for the worse. Although I brewed what looks to be like a great Pale Ale last week. Yesterday, I was less fortunate. I had decided to brew my own Pliny the Elder. Started at 9am so I could be done early in the afternoon. Went great all morning. 5 hours into durning that last stage I tipped the kettle to get the last bit of wort and I slipped. I dropped the kettle and broke the glass carboy. Glass and wort all over the ground. I was lucky to get away with a few minor cuts on my hands. It just about ruined my day. 5 gallons of Pliny the Elder crafted by me. Gone in an instant. It was not the end of the world. I will get over it. I will brew again next week but I will be more careful with the glass carboy.
For now, it is back to work.
